      Downgraded to a tropical storm...former Category 1 Hurricane Ernesto...swept across Bahia Campeche...leaving 12 dead.
      But PEMEX reported no disruption with its refinery or some 200 oil rigs.
      Flood prone Veracruz state suffered severe flooding.

      Ernesto had landed at Mahahual...40 miles north of Chetumal with...power outages and downed palms. 

      Chetumal's airport was also damaged.

      Ernesto was the 2nd storm of the season...and the strongest so far.
