VENEZUELA / MEXICO : Another Diplomat Kidnapped In Caracas But Eventually Released...Unharmed.

    Mexican Ambassador Carlos Pujalte and his wife were kidnapped...leaving a reception in a wealthy area of Caracas.
   They were finally freed 4 hours later...in a slum.
   There are an estimated 23 kidnappings per day in Venezuela.
   Many are so-called 'secuestros espresos'...kidnappings where victims are held for a few hours...and forced to withdraw money from ATMs.
   A Chilean consul was kidnapped and wounded in Caracas in November.
