President Felipe Calderon, 49, will soon be leaving office.
But he is haunted by charges of human rights abuses...with more than 50,000 dead since he took office in 2006.
And...likely venganza/revenge...from the narco gangs he has relentlessly pursued.
Now the question is...where will Felipe go for refuge...and also to escape going to court?
Some say the USA is likely...maybe even a UN post.
Or perhaps Spain.
"Upon leaving office, he will become the most persecuted of Mexican presidents," wrote columnist Ricardo Alemán . "The question is whether the state can guarantee the lives and assets of him and his family, or anyone else."
