BRASIL: Indigena Storm Congress To Protest Land Law.
Whooping and hollering...while dressed in traditional outfits...members of 70 indigena tribes...stormed Brasilia's lower house of congress...sending many members fleeing.
They want to stop a new law that allows local governments to define indigena reservations...and could allow landowners to greatly expand crop and cattle grazing areas.
While colorful and dramatic...the protest was mostly peaceful.
