BRASIL: Helicopter Use Soars In Sao Paulo.
There are 420 helicopters now registered in Sao Paulo...trailing only NYC.
The wealthy hire them to commute daily...and avoid the snarled traffic jams below that plague this city of 20 million.
SP has 190 heliports and averages 500 flights daily...even at the prohibitive cost of $1,300 per hour.
The ricos don't care...because business is booming in Brasil.
