UPDATE LINK CHANGE
At least 76 were treated for injuries...including 5 police...as thousands protested during the short swearing-in ceremony of Enrique Pena Nieto as Mexico's new president...outside congressional buildings in the DF.
29 were hospitalized...and 103 detained...including 11 minors.
Police responded with tear gas to homemade petrol bombs and firecrackers thrown by some 200 masked protesters...shouting down the PRI.
Hooligans smashed windows...and set bonfires.
At least one civilian was said to be seriously injured...by a tear gas cannister.
A member of the once powerful but corrupt PRI party...Pena Nieto, 46...begins a 6-year term as president.
The PRI ruled Mexico for 71 years...but has been out of power since 2000.
EPN is already upsetting many...because he named only 3 women to his 20-member cabinet.
AND: Departing from Calderon... EPN's new cabinet was announced...with little fanfare...and he was not even present.
