Reluctant witnesses have described the 12 November kidnapping of Tiquicheo mayor Maria Santos Gorrostieta, 36...by brutal narcos...outside of Morelia.
Having already survived 2 assassination attempts...she persuaded the gunmen to abandon her daughter crying on the side of the road...as they took the mayor away...to eventually stab, beat and burn her body.
Despite many threats...she had refused to resign her position.
She said at the time : 'It is not possible for me to surrender when I have 3 children, whom I have to educate by setting an example...'.
AND: Federal police found 19 bodies of men...8 of them freshly tortured and killed...in a mass grave/narcofosa...25 miles/40 kms from Cd. Juarez...in Chihuahua state.
