Parliamentary elections important for continued control by President Viktor Yanukovich's party are being held this weekend.
But in a remote Kharkiv prison...though ill ex-PM Yulia Tymoshenko continues to generate negative publicity for Yanukovich while serving a 7-year sentence for abuse of power...she has been unusually silent about the upcoming election...and her influence seems waning.
Yet...she is quietly organizing the opposition...unifying them...to promote her return to power.

AND: Mykola Melnychenko...the sought after bodyguard of ex-President Kuchma... has been arrested in Kyiv.
He has claimed to have recordings trying Kuchma to the murder of journalist Georgiy Gongadze in 2000.
Officials have sought him since 2011.
