Here in the USA...we have braggart builder Donald Trump...who lives to build tall, ugly and controversial highrises...that bear his name.
The Russians have Gazprom.
The giant nat gas company announced that plans for Europe's tallest building in St. Petersburg have been resurrected...without local debate.
After controversy and delays since 2006...the new building will be on the historic and beautiful city's outskirts...and be even higher than before...at more than 500 meters/1640 feet.
