FARC narco/oro rebels have stepped-up infrastructure assaults.
They blew-up a portion of the crucial Trans Andean pipeline near the port city of Tumaco...in the southwest.
Since January til June...there have been 67 oil industry attacks.
The 300km/185 mile pipeline also handles Ecuadorian oil.
Tumaco itself has been without power...for 10 days...after a rebel attack destroyed 8 transmitting towers...with 2 electrical workers...and an indigena...killed by boobytraps.
Angry business leaders and citizens have protested the long power outage.
