RUSSIA : Putin Counts On Syria Ceasefire For Weapons Sales.

     President-elect Vlad Putin...is not subtle when it comes to diplomacy...and selling weapons.
     He's an 'all elbows'...kind of guy.
     So Putin is counting on Kofi Annan's plan for a Syrian ceasefire...to protect his nation's 8% of weapons exports to Damascus.
     Russia needs those sales...because Moscow lost $4 billion in weapons sales when Libya fell...and is losing $900 million because of sanctions against Iran.
     It would also be Putin's biggest recent diplomatic victory...vs the USA.
