New IMF chief Christine Lagarde...has been en garde...working to save the eurozone from 'the markets'... by raising $430 billion in pledges...for a firewall fund.
Lagarde was all smiles during the G-20 conference ending today in the USA.
Many countries including Russia, India, China and Brasil made new pledges...but need approval by officials back home before announcing them.
The USA and Canada declined to offer additional assistance...claiming Europe is rich enough to offer support.
The new money will supplement the $485 billion already available to troubled nations.
But...what are the emerging nations demanding...and what will they get...for their new support?
