Cuba and debate over the legalization of some drugs...will top issues to be discussed this weekend at the 2-day Summit of the Americas...in Cartagena.
However...these topics are radioactive for President Obama...during his re-election campaign.
Ecuador's Pres. Correa is boycotting the meet because of Cuba's exclusion...and even host President Juan Manuel Santos joined Brasil in declaring that this will be the last summit without Cuba's attendance.
Other likely topics for the 33 regional leaders to discuss...the Malvinas/Falklands island brouhaha between Argentina and the UK...and the possible appearance and future of ailing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
