PERU : 29 March UPDATE : 1 Dead, 17 Injured In Sechura Pipeline Protest; Humala Announces $3 Billion Nat Gas Pipeline To South.

      Police reported one death and 17 injuries...including 6 officers...after fishermen clashed with them in northern Sechura...throwing rocks and blocking a bridge.
      Some 600 protesters also stormed a police station...forcing officers to flee.

      The demonstrators are protesting a proposed nat gas pipeline.
