MEXICO / USA : Drought Hurt Monarch Butterflies Wintering : Down 28%

      Monarch butterflies found wintering in central Mexico are down 28% from last year.
     Some experts say a severe drought in the USA's southwest is responsible.
     Others claim continued deforesting...with crop encroachment and pesticide use on lands near monarch's favored pine forests...are responsible.
