Former Mexican football league goalkeeper Omar Ortiz...aka 'El Gato'...was arrested for working with Monterrey kidnappers for more than a year.
Ortiz, 35...reportedly admitted picking out 2 wealthy victims for the kidnappers.
The kidnappers wanted 1 million pesos/$73,000 per victim....with Ortiz promised 100,000 pesos.
Ortiz played for Monterrey's Rayados...but was suspended in April 2010 for steroid use.
