Brasil's first openly gay MP is fighting with the nation's many powerful evangelical preachers.
Until now...his biggest claim to fame was winning the wildly popular 'Big Brother' TV show...with 50mn votes.
"This (BB win) had great political relevance," he said. "I said I was a homosexual and I still won the program in a country that is homophobic."
