A former teacher and a lowly paid tutor are in prison charged with terrorism and sabotage for using their Twitter accounts to send false rumors.
They each face 30 year prison sentences.
Veracruz prosecutors say the defendants helped cause 26 car crashes and panic as parents there rushed to save their children after false reports that gunmen were attacking schools.
