China's trade with Latin America has increased by 18-fold in the past decade...mostly from raw materials...and the most in the world.
But China usually wants only its unprocessed raw materials...and refuses to purchase "value added" exports.
Nomura Securities says: "We think Brazil's much vaunted 'new middle class' is a direct result of Chinese commodity demand."
