Finland demanded and won collateral concessions from Greece in a 21 July agreement to provide a new e159b/$229b aid package.
Now several other countries...Austria, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Slovakia want similar deals.
“Finland’s insistence on collateral unduly complicates the process to come to a swift agreement on Greece, thus increasing the risk of political noise in the coming days and weeks,”observes a Barclays economist.
