Putin's police have begun a probe of at least 3 opposition leaders...ransacking their apartments...and placing them under house arrest.
Prominent leader Sergei Udaltsov, 35...was confined to Moscow after interrogation over an alleged plot to seize power.
His and his parents' apartments were torn apart by investigators.
Udaltsov calls the searches and allegations 'a new repression.'
He could face 10 years in prison if charged and convicted of 'organizing mass unrest.'
Authorities are probing the alleged financing of the opposition by Georgia.
