RUSSIA : Moscow Kills Off Iconic Lada Autos.

    In La Habana...my first contact with Cuba's Russian connection and past...came with a novia named Katia...and the ever present Lada autos used as taxis.
    Now...Moscow is killing off the Lada Classic...saying... 'до свидания'/goodbye...to the boxy car that Cubans and Russians loved to hate...for over 40 years.
    A favorite joke about the Lada was...How do you double the value of a Lada? 
    Fill it with gas!
