POLAND / RUSSIA : Primer On Warsaw's Shale Gas Efforts.

     Warsaw is anxious to exploit its potentially vast deposits of shale gas...some 5.3 trillion cubic meters...enough to power Poland for 300 years....and sever its reliance on Russia's nat gas.
     So officials have turned to USA experts for technological help.
    But they are also ignoring warnings from the USA...of contaminated water and even earthquakes...resulting from the controversial 'fracking' technique.
     France and Bulgaria have banned 'fracking', Britain has suspended its use...and Germany is debating the issue.
