     President Medvedev has activated a new missile early-warning radar station in Kaliningrad...bordering EU nations in the Baltic region.
    Medvedev says it is his response to the threat from the USA's proposed European missile shield.
    The unit is equipped with the latest Voronezh-DM radar system.
