The second season...12 episodes...of the weekly TV show..."Iniciativa Mexico"/Initiative Mexico" continues its focus on the struggles of Mexico's poor...as 25 activists try to win the audience's support for a top prize of $2.5m.
From more than 56,000 proposals, producers selected 50...later whittled to 25 finalists.
"It seems that the country is crumbling down, but it's not true. That's not all of Mexico," said show director Tania Esparza. "There are people who are helping to keep this country's heart beating."
