President Hugo Chavez unexpectedly returned to Caracas on 23 July...proclaiming that he is free of cancer...and ready to run for another six-year term.
“This is all like a rebirth for me,” Chavez said on TV. “This doesn’t mean there is no risk, no. Cells come and go in a constant battle.”
19th century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche is also inspiring President Hugo Chavez in his battle against cancer...especially Nietzsche's tale about a prophet who shows courage while trying to spread a nonconformist message.
Chavez has quoted the dense treatise "Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book for All and None" on TV and on Twitter.
