President-elect Ollanta Humala will pardon former President Alberto Fujimori (above)...if his health worsens.
Fujimori, 73, is serving 25 years for corruption and ordering murders...but recently has been hospitalized for bleeding in his mouth...a possible recurrence of tongue cancer. Fujimori has also lost 15kg/33lb.
Humala said "nobody should die in prison, except people serving life sentences for abusing children".
Under Peru's law, Fujimori can only be pardoned on health grounds.
