MEXICO: TV Cop Series Ends...But Controversy About It Grows.

LATIMES/ K. ELLINGWOOD

A mediocre cop drama "El Equipo"/"The Team" only aired on Televisa for 15 episodes and three weeks...delivering mediocre ratings.
But the controversy around it may outlast the reruns.
Because the show may have been paid for by the Calderon administration.
So it is no accident that the episodes glorify the federal police.
