Police in Eldorado dos Carajas, Para state, reported the ruthless execution of an activist identified only as "Marcos"...just three days after national discussions began on stopping the many deadly disputes over illegal logging.
Police say two witnesses were taking a wounded "Marcos" to the hospital after he was first shot...but were stopped by gunmen following in a car...who finished him off.
Last week, three activists were murdered...plus a witness to a killing.
