SPAIN: 21 May UPDATE: Showdown Passes...In Youths' Madrid Protest.

      Authorities avoided a midnight showdown in Madrid...with 25,000 protestors in its Puerta del Sol plaza for the 6th straight day...denouncing Spain's two main political parties.

    The throng started cheering at midnight when the ban was to begin...and police did not move in.
    The young protestors label both parties as selfish and useless in dealing with the country's economic crisis.
   Unemployment among youths aged 20 -30 is estimated....at 45-50%.
   There have been demonstrations in Madrid and other cities ahead of this weekend's local and municipal elections.
    The protesters are especially angry over recent austerity measures.
    They have united behind the slogan of “Genuine Democracy Now”...and "Yes, We Camp".
