Indigena protesters have sacked public buildings and set fire to vehicles in Puno.
For two weeks, the mostly Aymara indigena living on Lake Titicaca have been protesting proposed mining, oil, nat gas and hydroelectric developments there and blocking roads on the Bolivian border.
They want the government to cancel the license for Canadian firm...Bear Creek...at its Santa Ana mine.
Indigena fear lake contamination, hurting fishing and agriculture.
Out going President Alan Garcia claims the government cannot cancel the license.
