Undersea robots have uncovered large parts of wreckage...at a depth of 4,000 meters/ 2.5 miles...from the Air France airbus that crashed off Brasil's coast in 2009 while headed for Paris...killing all 228 passengers.
Officials say recovery work could begin within three weeks.
Some debris was recovered soon after the accident but most of the plane sank.
So far, three attempts to find the plane have been futile.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
