President Juan Manuel Santos claims police have killed notorious paramilitary drug trafficker Pedro Guerrero, aka Cuchillo/ "the knife" (pictured), believed responsible for more than 3,000 deaths.
He had a $2.5 million reward on his head.
Pedro Guerrero was killed 25 Dec. in a gun battle in Meta province.
“He did so much damage to this country and that’s why this hit is so important,” Santos said on TV. “The murderer of murderers is dead.”
