The 10 million resident of greater Buenos Aires are suffering thru the second day of a blistering heat wave, power outages and a fuel shortage as temps reached 36 C / 97 F.
The heat wave has set a “historic record” in electrical consumption.
Experts also fear the lack of rain could continue until March with losses in important soybean and corn crops.
ALSO: A new study labels Buenos Aires as Latin America's noisiest city and the 4th loudest in the world, trailing only New York, Tokyo and Nagasaki.
Despite stringent laws to combat noise pollution, apparently it has is not improved.
