CZECH REPUBLIC: Social Dems Win Senate; Vow To Slow Austerity Cuts.

BBC/    The Social Democrats have won control of the senate, giving them the power to slow spending plans, including a 10% cut in the wages of public sector workers.
Their leader, Bohuslav Sobotk, (pictured) wants to make the governmental reforms "socially more tolerable".
The cuts provoked a large protest in Prague last month.
