Some believe that Brasil's leading soccer announcer, Galvão Bueno, is nothing but a bombastic cliché machine and NOT bueno. So they started a "Cala Boca Galvão” campaign on Twitter, disguised as a campaign to save the rare Brasilian Galvão bird. A You Tube video informs viewers :“Every tweet with Cala Boca Galvão generates a donation of 10 cents to the Galvão Birds Foundation. One second to tweet. One second to save a life. Galvão Institute. For a better world.” But Cala Boca Galvão really translates as: “Shut up, Galvão!” The Portuguese word for hawk “gaviã,” is close to Galvão. The video was posted Sunday on YouTube and has been viewed over a half-million times.
