COLOMBIA:1ST UPDATE: 2 Foreign Tourists Die In Medellin; Hostel Responds To Charges Of Inept Response.
COLOMBIA REPORTS/ 1ST UPDATE/ A 32-year-old Irish backpacker, David Thorne, died of a probable drug overdose on Easter in Medellin's Pitstop hostel with some guests discribing the hostel's response as "slow" and "inept"; meanwhile on Tuesday, a 55-year-old Italian Ivano Montabani Ivanov was found dead in a hotel room littered with empty alcohol bottles in the city's Estadio district. No signs of foul play were found in either case.
