Nothing like a good old Latin American coup to get my blood stirring.
It's been a while, too.
Some sources report the last LatAm coup in 1992. Others say it was 2002...when Hugo "the Ego" Chavez got bounced around.
Coups aplenty. That's why I think that I got hooked on Latin America in the first place.
The politics were always so interesting...and ever-changing.
I even quietly feared the coup drought...might go on.
Then along came...good old dependable...Honduras.
