The Spanish film “Even the Rain” has been nominated for 13 Goya Awards and Best Foreign Film Oscar.
The title is taken from a slogan in the struggle of the indigena peoples in Cochabamba to keep their water rights because they claim that the government wants to take away “our water, our air, even the rain."
It stars Gael Garcia Bernal (pictured) and was directed by Icíar Bollaín from a screenplay by Paul Laverty.
