BOLIVIA/PERU: Two Films Win Attention At Sundance.

LAHT/  “Zona Sur” (Southern District) by Juan Carlos Valdivia won Sundance's World Cinema Directing and Screenwriting awards, while “Contracorriente” (Undertow) by Javier Fuentes-Leon was honored by moviegoers with the World Cinema Audience Award.
"Zona Sur" is a portrait of the upper class in La Paz during great social changes while "Contracorriente" details the affair of a married man whose wife is about to have a baby on the coast of Peru.
