COLOMBIA: Seized Computer Reveals FARC Tried To Poison Uribe.

C.REPORTS/     Three FARC narco rebels successfully infiltrated former President Uribe's security staff and attempted to poison him, according to e-mails seized from slain leader "Mono Joyoy's" computer.
    "I can confirm that one of the ways the FARC were looking to make an attempt against the life of former President Alvaro Uribe was poisoning his food" between 2008 and 2010, said Defense Minister Rodrigo Rivera.

COLOMBIA: Santos' Popularity Soars To 88% After Mono Jojoy's Death.

C.REPORTS/     President Juan Manuel Santos approval rating surged to 88% after the massive military operation that killed 'Mono Jojoy," the FARC's second in Command. Santos met with President Obama in NYC where he compared the death of  Mono Jojoy to killing Osama bin Laden. "It’s as if I came here and told New Yorkers that Osama bin Laden had been struck down," Santos said about the rebel leader’s death. "This is the beginning of the end of 40 years of war in Colombia."

COLOMBIA: "Mono Jojoy," No. 2 In FARC Command , Killed In Macarenas Raid.

NYTIMES/     Luis Suárez, 57 aka Jorge Briceno, aka "Mono Jojoy," died during an air strike in the Macarenas mountain region of Meta province. Jojoy was the leader of the FARC's strong Eastern Bloc division and had eluded capture for almost 10 years. The U.S. was offering a $5million usd reward for his arrest and conviction. President Juan Manuel Santos declared that: "The symbol of terrorism in Colombia has fallen.To the rest of the FARC: we are coming after you, we are not going to let down our guard."

COLOMBIA: FARC Chief Orders DEATH! For 47 Of His Own Guards.

COLOMBIA REPORTS/      It's going to be brutal in the selva for the 47 rebel guards who failed to protect 4 captives recently freed by Colombian troops. FARC commander "Mono Jojoy" has ordered their EXECUTION. They were part of FARC's 7th Front and now presumably are on the run seeking protection. "Those who are guarding the hostages are at risk; we invite them to come to an [army] brigade, a church, a town's Ombudsman, and to bring with them the hostages, and to begin a new life,"said Peace Commissioner Frank Pearl.
