There are somewhat conflicting reports about the just recessed peace talks between the FARC narco/oro terrorists...and Bogota in La Habana.
The BBC quotes FARC spokeman Jesus Santrich as describing the talks in an upbeat manner...proceeding 'in the rhythm of mambo'...with common ground on land reform.
Reuters reported 'no major advances...with 'significant differences to overcome despite some areas of agreement.'
Chief Bogota negotiator Bogota Humberto de la Calle was more reserved.
He said: 'There are similarities in the desire to transform the countryside, although there remain notable differences.'
The fourth round of talks resume again in La Habana in 7 days.
