One international observer's group...the OSCE...called Sunday's parliamentary election a backward step for democracy...with 'abuse of power and the excessive role of money.'
Preliminary results (60 % counted) give President Yanukovych's Regions Party almost 35% of the vote...with 22% for jailed former PM Tymochenko's opposition bloc.
Former heavyweight boxing champ Klitschko's new Punch party was garnering about 13%.
OSCE employed over 800 observers...from 40 different nations.
A normal 45% of voters showed-up to cast paper ballots.
Ex-PM Yulia Tymoshenko's lawyer announced that the imprisoned politician was beginning a hunger strike...to protest yesterday's election violations.
