BULGARIA / RUSSIA / ROMANIA : Sofia Abandons Belene Nuke Plant.

     Sofia announced that all work on the nuclear plant at Belene near Romania...will be abandoned.
     The Russian reactor ordered for Belene may be installed at the Kozloduy nuclear plant.
     For years...Sofia and Moscow have argued over the plant's rising costs.
