Sometimes selecting a M3 tune is a bit problematic.
It's intended to be a sampler of newly discovered music...or perhaps classic greats...from the 25 nations covered on this blog...with an emphasis on Latin America.
Usually...that means too many choices.
But today's selection was...a no-brainer.
Sadly last week, Colombia's musical great Joe Arroyo passed away...at age 55.
The BBC labelled him as a salsa great. But he was more than that.
According to the NYT obit...Joe combined salsa with cumbia and porro...which it called "Joeson".
