Until now, Honduras has been known mostly known for a recent coup.
But it has surpassed neighboring Guatemala...as Central America's top producer of arabica coffee beans...the world's most desired and expensive beans.
"Honduras was like a sleeping giant," said Willem Boot, a San Francisco-based coffee quality consultant. "Now the giant is up and running."
