GUATEMALA: 100,000 Civil War Rape Victims...Finally To Be Heard.

                                   GUARDIAN

During its 36-year civil war, more than 100,000 women were raped in Guatemala.
The struggle from 1960-1996 also left 200,000 dead.
But the government has steadfastly refused to recognize the massive scale of rapes.
However, Spain's court will now investigate rapes and gender violence...as part of a plan to eliminate the Mayan indigena...as genocide.
