Prague is building a new homeless camp 12 miles from the city center.
Jiri Janecek, the City Councilor who is the main force behind the 300 person camp, calls it an “oasis” that will "protect the people of Prague."
Some homeless label the camp a "ghetto," reminiscent of the days when the Czech Republic was communist.
Four million foreigners visited Prague in 2008.
With a population of 1.2 million people, the city has between 3,000 and 5,000 homeless.
