Venezuelans were long used to his almost constant presence...but not surprisingly President Hugo Chavez disappeared from view in June...after his cancerous tumor was removed in Cuba.
At first...he returned slowly and sporadically.
Now he is BACK...apparently re-energized and eager to show that he is cured....and running for re-election.
Chavez is busy working the airwaves with phone-ins...and even hosting events at the presidential palace.
Is it wise?
An unnamed USA specialist said: "If you were my patient, and you said you had just finished chemotherapy two weeks ago and you were cured, I would say that is absolutely ridiculous. It is much too early to say."
