GUARDIAN/ Jo Tuckman / An 24-year-old Argentine is accused of trying to poison telenovela starlet Gabriela Spanic( pictured), her mother,baby boy and maid. Marcia Celeste Fernández Babio lived and worked for Spanic since January. Fernandez Babio allegedly slowly poisoned them by adding tiny amounts ammonium sulfate to their food for at least four months. It is used in fertilisers and rat poison and smells like rotten eggs. To not be detected, only very small amounts would be used.
